Pet insurance that actually covers dental cleaning? (Figo/Nationwide issues)

I’m trying to figure out pet insurance options for my 2 cats and could really use some advice. Right now I have Figo (wellness + accident/illness), paying about $50/month per cat. I recently submitted a claim for a routine dental cleaning and it was denied — they said dental cleaning isn’t covered except for a small wellness cap. I previously had Nationwide, but they also stopped covering dental cleaning the way I expected. At this point I’m pretty frustrated because dental cleanings are a regular, necessary expense and seem to fall into a weird gap where they’re either excluded or barely reimbursed. For those of you with cats: * Which insurance (if any) actually covers dental cleaning meaningfully? * Are there plans that cover more than just a small wellness allowance? * Is it even worth trying to insure for dental, or do most people just pay out of pocket? I’m open to paying a bit more if the coverage is actually useful, but right now it feels like I’m paying premiums and still covering everything myself. Would really appreciate hearing real experiences before I switch again.
